- Vanilla Extract: 1 teaspoon
- Wheat flour: 400 grams
- Salt
- Yeast: 1 teaspoon

Step by Step
- Prepare the dough
- In a large bowl, beat the butter at room temperature with the sugar, until you get a creamy mixture.
- Add our extra virgin olive oil, egg and vanilla extract, mixing with the blender until everything is fully integrated.
- Add the sifted flour, yeast and a pinch of salt, mixing well until a homogeneous mass is obtained.
- Wrap the batter in plastic wrap and let it sit in the fridge for at least 1 hour.
- Shape your butter cookies
- Preheat oven to 180°C.
- On a floured surface, stretch the dough with a rolling pin until it is about 5 millimeters thick.
- Use your Christmas molds to cut the cookies, and place them on a baking sheet, on baking paper.
- If there is leftover dough, you can knead again and spread the remains to make more cookies. They are never enough
- Bake!
- Bake your Christmas cookies for about 10 minutes, or until lightly browned.
- Then, let them cool for a while before placing them on a plate.

- Place your gingerbread cookies on the oven tray, leaving enough space between each. Bake for about 10 minutes, or until the edges begin to brown.
